Mixing
Mixing is the art of blending all the individual elements of your recording — vocals, guitars, drums, bass, synths, and more — into a balanced and compelling musical performance. This involves adjusting the volume, EQ, dynamics and tonality of individual layers, as well as creative decisions regarding what elements of a song should be in the spotlight at any given moment. I try to build a musical world for the song to live in.
Mastering
Mastering is the final process of preparing a recording for release, bringing it up to commercial volume standards without compromising the artistic integrity of the song.
